LEARN ADOBE PREMIERE PRO IN 10 MINUTES - Tutorial For Beginners

In today's world, video editing plays a very important role as it gives effects that emotionally connect us with the reality as well as enhance the video quality by adding various music and sound clips in the background making it more thrilling, blending images and much more.

Video editing is now coming in light worldwide as these editing tools are seen as a marketing strategy and as the promoting producers have now moved from photograph to video content.
Video editing is as easy and convenient for a Normal person to a professional editor. one such software is Adobe Premiere Pro.

Adobe Premiere Pro is a video editing software which helps you to convert raw footage into the incredibly amazing video product. it is used for editing videos, commercials, online videos, and films which unleashes their creativity. 
There are a variety of tools that lets its users adjust colors, fine-tune the Audio, cut the content into pieces, able to split clips, add filters and effects, trim frames and do more to create professional-looking results.
In Premiere Pro CC, CC represents "Creative Cloud" and is a subscription Based Premiere Pro. Adobe releases new Updates to Premiere Pro CC approximately every 12 to 18 months.

When you open Adobe Premiere Pro, you see four windows that are as follows:
  • Project window
  • Source window
  • Timeline window
  • Program window
The Project window is used to open the files that are required for editing which would store the footage to create a new video. The project window can store video clips, photos, audio clips, titles, and graphics.

The Source window is used to preview the footage of the individual clips and be able to make adjustments before dropping in the timeline window.

The Timeline window is used to edit and merge all the videos, photos, and audios. This is the window where you start Framing the video properly by dragging the items from the source window or Project window and placing them in proper order.

The Program window is basically used to Display the editing done so far and used to preview the whole editing work.

Basic steps to be done for editing a video:

  1. Open the folder in which we have saved the videos and photos.
  2. Drag the videos to the Project window.
So now we would be able to see the videos in the Project window.
once we double click the video, we can see the video in the source window.
Using playhead in the source window we can shorten the video as per our requirement. and after that, we can simply drag the video from the source window to the timeline window.
Another way to add a video to the timeline window is to drag the content from the project window to the timeline window.

Cutting is an important part of editing as it plays a primary role that cuts the clip and helps to create a story when placed properly. 
So how to cut the video clips? 
Here are two easiest ways to cut the clip:
  • Razor Tool
  • Ripple or Trim cutting
Razor tool - You can select the razor tool from the toolbar. Once selected you can simply click on a clip in the frame and cut the clip. For more accurate cuts, you can zoom the timeline which makes it easy and helps you to cut as much as you want to.

Ripple or Trim - if you want to trim the end or the start of your clip just grab the end or start and drag it inward.

How to Add Text or Title?
Titles or Texts are usually a creative way that helps in engaging your audience from the very start of the video. 
to add a text you have to, select the Type Tool from the toolbar and drag the box on your video on the program window and write the text or title.
incase if this tool is not visible, you may need to go to windows > tools and click and hold on type tool.
safe margins can be added from the program window in the settings which helps you as providing boundaries in which you can restrict your video text.
By double-clicking the text box, you can open the effects control panel in the source window and apply different fonts, styles, size, alignment, color, shades, shadows, etc.

How to add Transition to the video?
Transition is an effect between various different clips. choose window> effects, expand the video transition bin and select the transition you want to add, drag the transition to the clip, or in between two clips if there are a cut or two different clips. 

How to add an Audio to the video?
Select the audio file you want to import and drag the audio to the project window. 

How to Reduce the Opacity of the video?
Select the clip you want to reduce the opacity of and place another video below the Clip and go to effects control in the source window and reduce its opacity.
